There are several factors that come into play depending on what's in stock and what must be ordered to fulfill your request. John will provide an estimated turnaround time with the quote. General guidance is 1-4 weeks.
John does not currently handle shotgun loads or small caliber (such as .22 and .17)
Usually you aren't going to save money purchasing custom loads but from time to time you will. For instance if you return your brass to John's it will lower the cost of the ammo over time. In some cases John can make more obscure or harder to get rounds cheaper than you can find them online.
For customers we will always use new brass for the first order. If you decide to return the brass after firing John will re-use it and the cost will decrease accordingly.
We are open to this but there are some liability concerns that require you to sign a waiver if we use brass we haven't sourced.
A: John has loaded most of the mainstream calibers (9mm, .357, .223 .300BO etc.) in addition to less popular calibers such as .280AI, 38-55, 300 HAMR, .45LC
